Christopher Giroux is a Toronto based filmmaker and producer at Black Fawn Films, best known for his work on The Heretics, Bite, Bed of the Dead and Antisocial. He has over a decade of experience producings films within the Horror / Thriller genres, having his films distributed around the world.

JAMES YOUNG // CO-CREATOR, CO-DIRECTOR & WRITER
Founding Spiderclown in 2011 with Nikolas Benn, James has spent the last ten years working professionally in the Toronto film industry with a myriad of companies such as Black Fawn Films, Weber Shandwick, and John St. and has built a reputation as a jack of trades with extensive expertise in directing, producing, writing, and post-production visual effects.
James is able to piece together the big picture quickly and efficiently, and is able to work closely in collaboration with his cast and crew in order to create grander and more involving stories.
In 2017, James co-created the television series Bedtime Stories for Men on which he also co-directed and produced the series first season.
NIK BENN // CO-CREATOR, CO-DIRECTOR & WRITER
Founding Spiderclown in 2011 with James Young, Nik has a decade of experience working in the Toronto film industry with national brands such as Canadian Living and Elle Canada.
Nik is a multi-faceted director and writer, with an eye for detail, able to move between various genres with ease, visually and thematically, while applying a unique style and tone to each project.
In 2017, Nik co-created the television series Bedtime Stories for Men on which he also co-directed and wrote on the series first season.
MICHAEL DAVISON // CO-CREATOR, PRODUCER & WRITER
Joining Spiderclown as a partner in 2014, Michael has brought with him over eight years of experience in the Toronto film industry with various credits as a social media strategist/crowd funding specialist, story editor and a associate producer on Deep Six and Haunters webseries.
Michael has extensive expertise in his fields and is able to lead in both the writer’s room and budget room alike bringing a creative and focused perspective to any project. Notably as Special Projects Manager for Code 8, Michael was responsible for managing the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that netted the project $2.3 million and made it the #1 funded film project in Canada, and in the top five of all Canadian campaigns ever.
